Learn about our policies regarding returns, exchanges, and order cancellations
Can I exchange or return an item?
Please be sure to read the item specifications, care instructions, and sizing carefully before placing your order.
If you need to request an exchange or return, you must submit your request via the contact form within 30 days of delivery of your items.
- Tip-Top Tabletop is not responsible for paying any return shipping fees
- For an exchange or return to be accepted, the item(s) must be in the condition in which you received them. Unworn/Unused, and in their original packaging.
- Proof of purchase/a receipt is required.
I am not responsible for damage caused to items if care instructions are not followed. To learn how to best care for your new goodies please see my care guide.
If an item arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, please contact me immediately (within 7 days) of delivery, and I'll assist you!
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact me as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order. In most cases, orders must be cancelled within 1 hour from the time the order is submitted.
If items in your order have already entered the production queue, or have shipped, I cannot offer cancellations.
An item arrived damaged, what should I do?
You can contact me through the contact form! I will be happy to help you.
Please be sure to include as much information about your order as you can so I can assist you quicker, and if you're able to take photos of the damaged items in advance of reaching out it'll really help me out!
I received the wrong item in my order!
Oops, I am so sorry about that! I may make mistakes when packing orders, but would love to help you get the correct items.

Shipping and Production Times
Do you ship internationally?
Because I'm just getting started, I currently only ship within the United States.
If there is enough demand for international shipping it is certainly something I will work hard to bring to the store!

In the meantime, while I haven't tried this service for myself as I am a US resident I have heard good things about international mail forwarding services such as USAbox!

What is the average production time for made-to-order items?
The current production time is approximately 5-7 days.
Production time is the time it takes to make the item(s) in your order, and is not included in the shipping time.
For example, if you order an item that is made-to-order you can expect your order to be produced within 5-7 days, and then it will be shipped via the postal carrier. Standard shipping times apply.
Production time for made-to-order items will vary depending on order volume and seasonality. (For example, during the holidays, production times increase to ~14 days due to high order volume)

At this time, because my shop is growing the only items that are not made-to-order are my stickers!
By taking this approach, I aim to reduce waste and energy consumption. Over time, I hope to grow my shop and have more inventory on-hand to reduce processing times.

How much does shipping cost?
My shop uses a combination of flat-rate and weight-based shipping to try and provide you with the most affordable shipping options.
Tracked shipping for stickers starts at $4.50. If your order contains only stickers, and you're interested in a more affordable shipping option please let me know before placing your order.
If there is enough demand, I will offer untracked shipping for stickers using stamps, however, please know that if your sticker order becomes lost in the mail I cannot offer a refund or exchange for untracked items.
Shipping for larger items such as t-shirts and drinkware varies depending on the total size and weight of your order and your location.
Please take advantage of the "estimate shipping" tool at checkout to determine shipping costs for your order size and shipping destination.
Where can I find my tracking number?
Your tracking number will be sent via email after your order has been placed and confirmed.
Please note that tracking numbers are created when an order is placed, and not when an item is shipped.
If you purchased a combination of in-stock and made to order items, they will ship separately and your order will have multiple tracking numbers.
It may take up to 1 week for your tracking details to become available if your order contains made-to-order items.

I think my package might be lost or stolen
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that, I know how exciting it can be to get a package, and how disappointing it is when that package is lost in the mail or is taken by porch pirates.
Did you know that in 2022 there were 48,940 MILLION pieces of first class parcels mailed by USPS?
That's a lot of mail! No wonder some of it goes missing along the way. Unfortunately, once I ship out a package it is out of my hands and I only have as much information as you do at that point (the tracking number).
If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please follow these steps:
1. If your package has been marked as "delivered", but you cannot find it at your home, with neighbors, or at your apartment's lobby area please reach out to the postal carrier to file a report or locate the package.
2. If you believe your package has been stolen, please follow the steps from the postal carrier to report a mail theft.
The postal carrier will be able to assist you much more than I can, and oftentimes they will ask you to wait a few days to a week for the delivery before taking further action.
Oftentimes, if a package has been marked as "delivered" but cannot be found, one of these things may have happened:
- The package may have been mistakenly left with a neighbor or building lobby, or if you were not home at time of delivery they may have left it with them to keep your package safe. Check with neighbors to see if they may have your items.
- The delivery driver may have scanned the package early, updating the tracking information to "delivered" prematurely. If this happened, the package will normally in 1-2 days.
- The carrier may have been unable to deliver your package due to traffic accidents, extreme weather, or other circumstances. They'll likely attempt to deliver the package the following day.
- Your package may have been sent to the wrong address, you may have input the order with a typo during checkout or your browser may have auto-filled an outdated address.
- Delivery failed, if for some reason the carrier makes an attempt, or sometimes multiple attempts to deliver a package unsuccessfully it may be sent back to me. If this happens, I will let you know I received your order and either refund you or ask for an alternate mailing address before remailing you the items.
Please note that in this case, new shipping fees will be collected.
It is your responsibility to file any necessary claims with the postal carrier if your package is lost or stolen. Of course, if you have questions I'll do my best to help.
In general, my tips are to share as much information with the carrier as possible - including letting them know that you've already checked with neighbors and whether you've waited a few extra days past the "delivered" date before filing your claim.
My items were damaged in transit, or my package is missing items
Please note that made-to-order items ship separately!
If your order contains made-to-order items such as apparel or home goods they will ship separately.
In this case, the items are not considered to be "missing" until all parcels have been marked as delivered.
If items have been marked as delivered, follow these steps:
If your order contains 1. Damaged or 2. Missing items please reach out to me via the contact form ASAP so I can file a claim with the postal carrier!
Sometimes mail sorting machines can damage envelopes, or boxes can get squished during transit. Other times, packages might be delivered with missing items.
If this happens, please reach out to me and send me photos of your package and any damage so that I can file a claim for the value of the items and send you a replacement for items that are still in-stock.
If an item is no longer in-stock or has been retired I will work with you to either find a replacement product I hope you'll enjoy, store credit, or a refund.
